Dr.Majisu is a Consultant Pediatrician with more than a decade of experience in the United States. She was born in Nairobi Kenya, She graduated with a BA cum laude at Bryn Mawr College, Pennsylvania.She obtained her medical degree at Pritzker School of Medicine (University of Chicago). And Completed her Pediatric Residency at the Prestigious Boston Children’s Hospital (Harvard Medical School) and Boston Medical Center (Boston University Medical School).
Dr. Majisu has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) since 2001 and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is recognized as a Pediatric Consultant by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
She has experience in private practice and has distinguished herself as an educator training both Medical students and Pediatric residents at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
She is a champion of early childhood literacy and has served as the medical director for the New Jersey Reach Out and Read organization. She has been an advocate for medically fragile children including those with cerebral palsy, autism, and other developmental delays.
Her other interests include adolescent healthcare. She is delighted to be back in Kenya where she hopes to provide quality patient and family centered health care.
